A high-speed, portable charging solution for Type 2 EVs, offering up to 32A (7.2kW) power via a standard blue commando plug.
At EVzap, we believe that electric vehicle ownership shouldn't be limited by fixed infrastructure. Founded by a team of British EV enthusiasts, we recognised a gap for drivers who needed more than a standard domestic plug but weren't ready for a permanent wallbox installation. Whether you are at a holiday let, a workshop, or a rental property, we provide the hardware to keep you moving.
Our flagship portable chargers are engineered specifically for the UK climate and electrical standards. With IP65 weatherproofing and adjustable current settings, our gear is built to handle everything from a drizzle in the Highlands to the specific power constraints of a rural farm building.
We focus on safety, portability, and speed. By utilising the blue commando (CEE) standard, we offer up to 7.2kW charging-tripling the speed of a standard 3-pin plug-without the high cost of a dedicated electrician-led home install. EVzap is about giving you the freedom to charge on your own terms.
Our products are designed and supported in the UK, ensuring superior quality and fast tracked delivery from our British warehouse. We offer free UK delivery on all orders, eco-friendly packaging to reduce carbon footprint, and warm, direct customer service. Every order is backed by a generous 30-day returns policy under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 — you are always protected.

Bought this for my workshop where I already had a commando socket. It charges my Polestar at 7kW perfectly. Much cheaper than a wallbox install.
The 6m cable is a lifesaver. My driveway is quite deep and the standard cable that came with the car barely reached. This feels much more rugged too.
Excellent bit of kit. I use it for my rental property where I can't install a permanent charger. I just take it with me when I move.
Great charger, very fast. Only minor gripe is the control box is a bit bulky, but I suppose that's the price of the safety features.
Compared this to the Bokman one and the build quality on the EVzap feels superior. The screen is much easier to read in direct sunlight.
Solid performance in the Scottish winter. Hasn't missed a beat even in sub-zero temperatures. The adjustable amps are useful for my old garage wiring.
